PVC coated welded wire mesh roll combines the proven strength of resistance-welded steel with a thick, bonded plastic coating that delivers double protection and a clean, finished appearance. The wire is first galvanized and then sheathed in PVC, so that even if the outer plastic skin is scratched or nicked the zinc layer beneath it continues to guard the steel against rust. Supplied in light, easily managed rolls of up to 30 metres in length, it unrolls flat and cuts cleanly with ordinary hand tools, which makes it the natural go-to product for fast fencing and enclosure work. The standard colours of green, black and dark grey blend quietly into gardens and rural landscapes while resisting fading from sunlight over many seasons of outdoor use.
Coating & Corrosion Protection
The dual coating system is exactly what sets this product apart from cheaper single-protected mesh. A continuous hot-dip or electro-galvanized zinc layer is first applied to the steel core, and then a fusion-bonded PVC jacket of roughly 0.4 to 1mm thickness is extruded smoothly over the top of it. This protective sandwich resists moisture, ultraviolet light, salt and soil acids far longer than plain galvanized mesh ever could, and the smooth plastic surface stays clean and is easy to wipe down.
